Hello Fellow Lake Associations,
The plans for the All Candidates Meeting on October 6, 2018 (9:30 to noon) at the Humphrey Community Centre, are well under way. A poster for this event is set out below. Please distribute it to your members. Attendance at this meeting will help your members decide how best to place their votes.
Please give your members some words of encouragement about the importance of voting. As a group, waterfront property owners provide a large portion of the tax revenue for Seguin so they deserve to have municipal representation that represents their values!
Residents may call (1-877-473-4846) or go into the Seguin office to confirm that they are on the voters’ list. All persons entered on the voters’ list will be mailed a voter information letter during the last week of September or the first week of October. The letter will contain a Personal Identification Number (PIN) which can be used to log into the secure voting system either online or by telephone to vote anonymously. Voting will start October 9 and will continue until October 22. See seguin.ca for more information.
Volunteers are needed on the day of to help with things such as chair set up and take down. Please reach out to your members and have them contact Nancy Cohen at nscohen@rogers.com if they are available to help.
